Australis Milky Way Glitter Nail Colour

Australis recently released 3 new glitter polishes inspired by space. I'm a big, big fan of Australis's glitter polishes so I was eager to snap them all up. So far I've only been able to find Milky Way, but you can see all 3 shades on Beauty with the Beautifool.

The name tells you everything you need to know about this polish. The galaxy known as the Milky Way is so named because it has a 'milky' appearance that makes it difficult to distinguish individual stars with the naked eye. Australis has recreated that in nail polish form, with a milky pale blue, semi opaque base filled with multicolored glitter. When layered, the base colour makes previous layers of glitter appear cloudy. Still visible, just noticeably toned down. I really love the effect, there's something sweet about the bold, loud multicolored glitter pieces being softly covered by a pretty pastel.

There's a generous amount of glitter in Milky Way. If you're just doing a single layer over another polish you'll probably need to dab the bigger pieces on, but otherwise it gives great glitter coverage. A fully opaque finish requires 3-4 coats, but the thin formula dries fast.
